Sham began his career in 1995 at a local advertising firm, steadily rising to become a Creative Director. He managed impressive client portfolios, including Proton, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, and many more. Transitioning to diverse creative roles, he co-founded Rentak Asia 2000, organizing Malaysia’s largest music concert with international stars like Steve Vai and Jethro Tull.

As a freelance creative director, he shaped the Tour de Borneo brand image, enduring till 2023. Joining a small agency in 2007, he secured accounts from notable companies like Marsh & McLennan, Bank Negara Malaysia, CGC Berhad, PUNB, Ealaf Bank, SMECorp, MIFC, etc. Notably, he revamped Takaful Malaysia and Penang Port Berhad’s brands, still in use today.

At Leo Burnett, he oversaw Philip Morris brands before providing creative services to Bank Rakyat, Bloomberg, and others till 2022. In 2023, he became a marketing consultant for Manjaku Holding Sdn Bhd, showcasing his dedication to art, design, and branding.
